Meet Crystal Nutt!

WACOSA is pleased to announce the addition of Crystal Nutt, Grant Writer and Development Coordinator. Since beginning at WACOSA in February, Crystal has been an immediate asset to the organization.

“Crystal brings to WACOSA experience in both communications and fundraising – a great combination for working on both grant writing and fund development activities,” says Steve Howard, Executive Director of WACOSA. “We have a great deal of opportunity to advance our mission by engaging key stakeholders in the fund development process, and we look forward to Crystal navigating us through this experience.”

In her role, Crystal will support the organization by overseeing all aspects of fund development and grant writing.

Crystal graduated in 2005 from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls with a B.S. in Marketing Communications. Having worked for nonprofits like Canvas Health and American Cancer Society, she has eight years of diverse communications and fund development experience. Crystal is also an active community member volunteering for organizations like BigBrothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota, as well as professional membership organizations such as Association of Fundraising Professionals and Business Womenof Central Minnesota. Additionally, Crystal serves as a contributing writer for the Central MinnesotaWomen Focused Philanthropy column.
